Kitsune Global Solutions is establishing in-house binder-jet metal additive manufacturing paired with AI-driven process control — closing the gap between a mission requirement and the part that satisfies it.
01 / Thesis
The bottleneck is not design. It is the wait.
Allied defense forces, reserve components, and critical-infrastructure operators share a common failure mode: the part exists as a drawing, a supplier exists on another continent, and the gap between them is measured in months. Sustainment stalls on obsolete components. Training platforms sit deadlined for a bracket.
Kitsune Global Solutions already sits at the intersection of training, logistics, and security architecture. Additive manufacturing is the logical extension of the logistics line — the point at which we stop sourcing a part and start producing it, inside our own export-controlled envelope.
Our procurement framework already enforces host-nation-first sourcing and excludes adversary-manufactured goods. In-house additive capability makes that policy structural rather than contractual: a part produced on our floor has no supply chain to compromise.
This is not a capability we intend to resell. It is a capability we intend to operate — reducing our own delivery risk first, and offering surge production to partners second.
02 / Platform
Production System P-50
The target platform is the Production System™ P-50 — a binder-jetting machine built for serial production rather than prototyping. It uses Single Pass Jetting with a bidirectional print bar, which is what separates a production line from a lab bench.
Binder jetting is the right technology for this mission profile specifically because it does not require a laser, an inert build chamber per part, or the support-removal labour that makes powder-bed fusion expensive at volume.

03 / Integration
Where the AI actually earns its place
Additive manufacturing generates more process telemetry than a human operator can act on. That is the opening — not generative design demos, but three concrete control loops.

Print Qualification
Layer-wise imaging and spreader telemetry scored against known-good builds, flagging spread defects and binder saturation drift mid-build rather than at post-mortem. The objective is fewer scrapped plates, not fewer operators.
AI—02
Demand Forecasting
Sustainment history and training-cycle schedules drive a build queue, so the parts most likely to deadline a platform are produced before the request arrives. This is the logistics practice we already run, instrumented.
AI—03
Parameter Search
Sintering and infiltration parameters for a new alloy are conventionally found by coupon-and-iterate. Bayesian optimisation over prior build outcomes narrows that search, compressing qualification time for each material we add.
04 / Diligence
Why this platform, and not another
Binder jetting is being qualified for defense end-use on this specific platform lineage — by parties with no relationship to KGS, which is precisely what makes it useful evidence.
- A $7.9M program with U.S. Army DEVCOM Ground Vehicle Systems Center, administered by NCMS, qualifying aluminium binder jet AM for defense vehicle components.
- U.S. Department of Defense silicon-carbide work developing SiC components and printing techniques for missile-defense applications.
- A Northrop Grumman collaboration on 3D-printed SiC optics for high-energy laser systems.
We would rather buy into a technology the Army is already qualifying than one we would have to qualify alone.
